MakeGood is a national 501(c)(3) that uses open source 3D printing to put custom assistive devices in the hands of the disability community, free, anywhere in the world. EcoPrint is their certified ambassador organization: a team of medical students designing, printing, and hand delivering those devices to families near us.

We carry the MakeGood mission into medical school and the community around us.
MakeGood publishes the designs and vets the makers. We build. Our home base is Washington, DC, with a second team of students in Philadelphia, and every device that leaves our printers is fitted to one child, then driven to their door by the people who printed it.
Two Toddler Mobility Trainers have gone home so far, to Sibby and to Jayden, with more on the bench right now. Each one is customized to the family: the colors the kid picked, plus whatever they actually need, like a tray, a cup holder, extra head support, or a push handle for a parent.
Families anywhere in the country sign up through MakeGood and get matched to a vetted maker. Our job as ambassadors is to be that maker for families near us, and to bring more medical students into the network as we grow.

The Toddler Mobility Trainer
The TMT is MakeGood's flagship 3D printed pediatric mobility device, built to help toddlers with mobility impairments move on their own during the window where it matters most. It runs about $200 in filament, hardware, and delivery, against $1,000 to $10,000 for a commercial equivalent, and it reaches the family free.

MakeGood publishes every design openly, so anyone with a printer can download it, build it, and hand it to a child who needs it. No licensing fees, no restrictions, no price tag in front of a kid who needs to move.
That open model is what makes a network like this possible, and it is what lets a group of medical students build at real scale.

A family signs up
Families register through MakeGood and get matched with a vetted maker in the network. Near us, that is often our team.
We build it for that kid
We print from MakeGood's open files, sized for the child and adjusted for what they need, with fit questions going back to their therapist first.
We deliver it free
The finished device goes to the family at zero cost, hand delivered whenever we can get there ourselves.
Every device starts with filament
Our hours are volunteered and every design file is free. What we buy is plastic, hardware, and gas for the delivery. About $200 covers one complete device.
