Every project starts the same way — someone needed something built.
It started with a plastic bottle and a machine that turned it into filament. It now runs through mobility trainers, prosthetic hands, classrooms, Narcan kits, and a mountain clinic in Guatemala. Here is the whole map, with the full story behind each one.
Six different ways we have put a printer to work
MakeGood partnership
Official DMV and Philadelphia ambassadors, held to the same standard as every maker in the network. Requests come in from families, and we build the device that fits the kid.
Recycling initiative
One bottle, one idea, our first project. The Recreator3D pulls a heated strip of PET through a die and spools it into printable filament, so a recycling bin becomes the material everything else gets built from.
4H collaboration
Teaching students across the U.S. to print, design, and build in a way never thought of before.
e-NABLE prosthetic hands
Printed, assembled, and fitted hands built to the open e-NABLE designs, at no cost to the family.
Narcan distribution
Free kits, printed cases, and basic training, getting lifesaving resources where they are needed.
Mission trip to Guatemala
5 days, 20 students, and over 400 people seen and treated in the rural mountains of Guatemala.
